A Workshop Session Meeting of the EAST HARTFORD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION was held in the Building Department Conference Room, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut on August 6, 2008.

The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m.

Discussion on proposed new zoning regulation for “High Tech, Laboratory, and Office Research”
It was the consensus of the Commission to have Staff proceed in preparing a draft of changes to the Zoning Regulations regarding high tech, laboratory and office research.

Request for Postponement – Special Permit Use Application – 75 Burnside Avenue –New construction of a gas station and associated convenience store
Applicant: PARAS, LLC
It was the consensus of the Commission to grant the applicant’s request for postponement to the September 10, 2008 Public Hearing.
